A couple of things…
Why is it going to be an Xbox exclusive?
Crystal D can’t compete with Naughty Dog. As far as adventure games go, Naughty Dog’s Uncharted got it from Eidos, so you’d think the adventuring would be a bit cooler in TR.
The TR reimagining was basically an Uncharted clone with a Mature rating from the start, as far as gameplay goes.
We’re not sure why they turned a badass into a scared little college girl who hates tombs… who just so happens to have the stomach to murder hundreds of people.
For the original fans of the series, this one is not canon, although it claims to be. (Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation, where teen Lara ran off fighting demons on her own against her mentor’s direction).
The Lara we know and love does this tomb raiding gig for sport, it’s not a “calling.”
Crystal D is known for 5 star classics such as Gex and Soul Reaver, so why not put your best team on on the franchise you inherited?
We would resurrect Core and Eidos just to give them a chance to do TR correctly. Lara deserves a better shot than this.
